Over the last few years, I’ve established great relationships with some outstanding sports companies. I’ve partnered with them because they embody what I value most in sports-related products: innovation, superior quality, and leading-edge performance.
In today’s installment of Meet My 2023 Partners, I introduce you to SLFMotion, a
company that designs and manufacturers the highest quality cycling drivetrain upgrades (over-sized pulley wheels, ceramic bottom bracket). SLF stand for Smoothest, Lightest, Fastest. I think they should add a ‘C’ for Coolest too!
As for credibility, SLFMotion was just named as technical partner of the Astana/Qazaqstan World Tour cycling team.
Being a passionate triathlete with big goals to compete on the world age-group stage, I’m looking for every edge that might make me faster. I discovered SLF Motion in 2021 as I was searching for ways to make those marginal gains that can make the difference on race day. Over-sized pulley wheels (OSPW) and a ceramic bottom bracket for my new triathlon bike were a priority. There are other bigger names in this space, but, as I compared products and read reviews, I knew SLFMotion was for me! In 2022, I raced on the SLF Motion Evo Aero System (see image) at the USAT Age-group National Championships in Milwaukee and was 5th/89 in the Super-Sprint in my age group, and at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi where I won the bronze medal in my age group in the Super-Sprint. My bike split was faster than expected and I attribute it to the SLFMotion Evo Aero System.
